CRITICAL MISSING MAN: Michael Jay Shannon, 48 - Portland, OREGON (drives a charcoal colored 1995 Chevy Lumina with OR plate WKZ826)

Police are searching for a missing man believed to be having a mental health crisis.

—˃Michael Jay Shannon, 48, has been missing since Wednesday after leaving his home in Northeast Portland, police said.

—˃Shannon is described as 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds.

—˃He drives a charcoal-colored 1995 Chevy Lumina with an Oregon license plate of WKZ826.

Police ask anyone who sees Shannon or his car to immediately call 911. Tips can also be left with Det. Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081.
