A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the safe return of Kenneth Wayne Wallace.
The reward is being offered by Wallace family members. Fliers are being posted throughout the area.
Wallace, 41, of Syracuse, was reported missing Oct. 21 by his girlfriend. “Everything about this is so not like him,” said Paul Cockerel, Wallace’s uncle.
Wallace was last seen leaving his home, which is in the area of 1000 West and 3000 South in Syracuse, on foot between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 21, police said.
He was wearing a lightweight black jacket, black hat, blue jeans and sandals.
Wallace is listed on the National Crime Center’s system as a missing/endangered person.
Syracuse Police Lt. Tracy Jensen said Friday that the department has not received any leads on Wallace’s whereabouts since he was last seen.
Jensen said Wallace has not used his debit card and did not take his car or his cellphone.
Wallace has had no contact with family members, friends or co-workers.
Wallace is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds, and has a goatee, brown hair and brown eyes.
Officers searched in the Syracuse area the week after Wallace was reported missing. Rescue K-9s were part of the search, but nothing was found, Jensen said.
Police have said there is some concern that Wallace might be having some mental health problems and could be suicidal.
Anyone with information is asked to call Syracuse police at 801-825-4400.
