Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies are seeking information on a missing child who lives in the Katy area.
The boy's parents contacted the sheriff's Office at 5:47am today to report that their 11-year-old son, Richard Redland, was not in his home when they awoke. The family lives in the 21300 block of Willow Glade Drive.
The boy is 4-feet, 3-inches in height and is of Asian descent. He was last seen wearing a lime green shirt and blue-gray pajama pants. The boy attends McMeans Junior High, which is near his home.
Deputies from the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office also are helping in the search.
Anyone who may have seen Redland is asked to call the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at 281-341-4665.
