Missing Montgomery girl found after a friend's mother saw her picture on the news

MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- A missing 10-year-old Montgomery girl was found this morning about two hours after the media was told she was missing.

According to Montgomery Police, Courtney Jones had gone to a friend’s house to spend the night. The friend’s mother called police after she saw Courtney’s photo on the morning news.

Courtney had been last seen at 4 p.m. on Nov. 1 when she left her residence in the 700 block of E. Patton Avenue to return a shirt to a friend.
