Roseville police are looking for two teenage girls who didn't return home after school Thursday.
Both girls sent text messages to their fathers that night saying they were with "male subjects" who wouldn't let them leave, according to a news release.
Melissa Perez, 16, and Angelina Loredo, 14, asked their families not to call police, but said they were scared and couldn't phone or text again.
Roseville officers and family members have been searching for the girls. They may be in the area of Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard, police said.
Perez is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Loredo is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with black hair brown eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Roseville Police Department at (916) 774-5000.
