Endangered teen found safe
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - State police say a missing teenager who escaped state protective custody has been found safe.
State officials were transporting Cheyeene Vires, 16, to Morehead on Friday.
But officials say she busted out a window in the vehicle while on I-64 in Shelby County and escapeed.
Lexington police tell WKYT Vires was found Tuesday night off West High Street.
Vires is now back in custody of the state.
