SILVER ALERT: Hong S. Kim, 25 - Plainview, NEW YORK

Police have issued a "Silver Alert" for Hong S. Kim, 25, of Plainview, who was last seen at home on Friday about 10 p.m. They said Kim was in a "poor mental state."

No photo of the man was immediately available.

Kim is described as Asian, about 6-feet tall, 140 pounds with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, a dark tee shirt and sandals.

Police say is possible destination is Long Beach.

The Silver Alert Program disseminates information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from mental disorders goes missing.


If you have information about the missing man, call 911.
