Ruth Harris, 78, cooks for her family, volunteers in the community, and keeps to a strict routine.
She was last seen at 9:30 a.m. June 27, 2012 in the 17300 block of Edinborough, wearing a red housecoat.
She’s 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, has brown eyes, salt and pepper hair and a medium brown complexion. She’s in good mental and physical condition.
Son Keith Harris was the last person to see her before she went missing.
“We relied on each other for everything,” he said. “Her cooking, her meals, everything was done, predicated basically upon us being able to sit down, talk together about the events of the day. I miss that.”
He added his mom was active and volunteered at the Detroit Institute of Arts. He described her as a “woman of routine” who always checked in with her family.
If anyone has seen Ruth Harris, call the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 313-596-5240.
