Runaway teens found safe in Jackson County

GAINESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

An endangered child alert that was issued Wednesday for two Jackson County teenagers has been canceled after they were found safe.

Courtney Hawkins, 16, went missing Tuesday at about 4 p.m. from Jackson County High School.  She was last seen with her boyfriend, Dillan Stewart, 16, who was also missing.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said both were later found safe in Jackson County Wednesday night.
