Located safe; Carole Joy Shaeffer 13 - Southgate, Michigan

SOUTHGATE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Southgate Police say they have located missing 13-year-old Carole Joy Shaeffer.

Carole disappeared 3 days ago from the family's home in the 14000 block of Windermere in Southgate. That's between Eureka and Dix-Toledo Road.

Police say she is currently with authorities, but wouldn't elaborate on where she was found or the circumstances of her disappearance.
