Police need the public's help in locating a missing child.
Three-year-old Ja'eire Delaney was reported missing Thursday night. Police have learned he is with a family member or friend of the biological father, and that person is refusing to return the child to his mother. A court order has established that the mother is supposed to have custody.
Ja'eire is not believed to be in any danger, but does need to be located.
He has been described as a black male, thin with short black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000.
