Officials said Sunday night they are searching for a missing 16-year-old girl from the United Kingdom who is visiting the area with her parents.
Amy Turner was last seen Saturday on the 500 block of Montara Drive in Davenport, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
A missing child alert was issued Sunday asking for help locating Turner. She is white, 5-feet 4-inches tall, about 140 pounds and has blue-green hair and blue eyes.
Turner has a short bob haircut in a photo authorities released of her Sunday.
She was last seen wearing bright green jeans, a black T-shirt and a black "Linkin Park" sweatshirt.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office said she is visiting the area with her parents from the United Kingdom. Her parents found a note Sunday morning that led them to call authorities.
Deputies are reviewing her computer to see whether it could give any hints to where she might have gone.
