With sadness, our loved Carla Cook Fuqua , missing since 2008, from Piedmont, Alabama has been located a victim of homicide. I want to let the person who was brave and came forward, no matter who you are...you did the right action to give the lead or tip that enabled Carla to be brought home. While we do not know who gave this tip or lead, or if you are responsible for taking the life of this beautiful mother from her child...what we do know....by telling the location to bring her earthly body home will now enable her family to have their needed answers, their beautiful Carla home. Not in the way they prayed and hoped....but she can now be where they want her memorialized.
Carla, we searched, we prayed, we asked the public to help bring you home...little did we know, you were home all along...safe in the arms of the Lord and at the side of your loving husband who passed before you in the tragic 4-wheeler accident.
Our prayers for your mom , Darlene, and your beautiful son Justin. Sweet Justin has lost his mom, his father and grandfather in his short life....he is so very blessed to have your mom and I know you are proud of the valiant search they along with your family did in trying to find you.
Prayers for strength for your family in the upcoming days of needing justice. Carla, you will never be forgotten and are loved by many.

Carla Cook-Fuqua, age 28 in 2009, is missing. She is a mother of a young son and also a widow as her husband was killed in a four-wheeler accident. She also lost her father who passed away one year to the day her husband passed away. Carla was http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.giflast seen on October 29, 2009 in the area of Piedmont Springs, Piedmont, Alabama at a friend's home. Her vehicle was found at the home, however, Carla was nowhere to be seen. She was
last seen wearing jeans, a brown jacket and boots.
Carla has a tattoo on her right ankle of a "sunshine", a crown of thorns on her left upper arm, a tattoo of "Justin" on her lower back and angel wings on her back. She is 5'4" and weighs 90 pounds. She has long sandy colored hair and blue eyes. Her family is desperately seeking anyone who has information and ask that they please contact authorities.
