[Missing: Marco Cordon, 39 - Thousand Oaks, California]

Police were looking Friday for a man who went missing last week in Thousand Oaks.

Marco Cordon, 39, was last seen just before 5 p.m. Dec. 10 as he was walking away from his home in the 1300 block of East Thousand Oaks Boulevard, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office said.

Cordon is an avid hiker and known to frequent Thousand Oaks hiking trails, police said.

He was described as 5 feet 10 inches, about 150 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes, officials said. Cordon was wearing a light green hooded sweatshirt and bluejeans, officials said.
