Police are searching for a missing man from Pontiac. He's believed to be suffering from dementia.

Louis Lowery, 80, was last seen in bed, but it was noticed that he was missing around 5 a.m. on Saturday. Investigators believe he left his home on Dorothy Drive on foot.

Lowery is black and about 5'7." Police describe him as bald with a thin build.

He's believed to be wearing a grey sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and white tennis shoes.

Lowery does not drive. Police also report that he does not walk well and he doesn't have a cell phone. He left his wallet at home.

Pontiac Police, Pontiac Fire, Livingston County Sheriff's Police, Illinois State Police Air Operations, Livingston County Search and Rescue volunteer team, and many people from the area spent Saturday looking for Lowery but have not had any success.
