[Missing:  Melvin Webster, 68 New Orleans, LOUISIANA]

New Orleans Police are searching for a man, reported missing out of Gentilly. Melvin Webster, 68, was last seen by his wife at 6:30 a.m. Saturday as he was leaving his home in the 1500 block of Paula Street. 

Police say that Webster told his wife that he was going to walk to the store at the intersection of Broad Street and Orleans Avenue. Webster never returned and hasn't been seen or heard from since. 

He is described as a black man, 5-foot-8, weighing 178 pounds, with a medium build and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige hat, a maroon shirt and black pants.
