Located safe: (after vehicle stuck) Tina Christine Beckhusen, 56 - Texas

Authorities searching a wooded area near a rural intersection late Tuesday morning found a missing Central Texas woman, about an hour after the discovery of her abandoned pickup truck.

The Granger woman hadn't been heard from since calling a family member Monday to say she'd run off a road and that her pickup was stuck.

Tina Christine Beckhusen, 56, was supposed to be driving from Granger to Temple Monday when she called her family and said her black 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck had struck a guardrail on a dirt road and that she was stuck.

The call was made from somewhere in the Lorena-Bruceville Eddy area.

Officers from area agencies have been looking for her ever since.

The truck was found abandoned at around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North Aspen Street and North old Bruceville Road in the Bruceville-Eddy area.

The woman's phone was in the truck, but she wasn't.

Authorities heard her calling for help just after 10:30 a.m.

An ambulance was requested
