#Missing: John Jarrell, 38 - Cottage Grove, OREGON (despondent)

The Cottage Grove Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man who has been missing since September 30.

John Jarrell, 38, has a history of depression and his family is concerned for his safety. When he went missing, he left behind his medication and a cell phone. He has had no bank transactions since he went missing.

Jarrell is six-feet tall with brown hair, green eyes and a beard. He drives a white Chevrolet S-10 Blazer with a damaged bumper. The license plate on the vehicle reads VSF 329 or 285 GAH. Family members say he is an outdoorsman and may have gone to the national forest in Jackson or Josephine counties.

Jarrell has lived in the Medford/Ashland area all his life until he moved to Cottage Grove in April, 2015.

If seen, please contact Cottage Grove Police Department at 541-942-9245 and press 1 for dispatch.
