#Missing: (Autistic) Alexander Armando Gutierrez, 26 - Phoenix, ARIZONA

Police are asking the public for help with finding a missing 26-year-old Phoenix man.

Alexander Armando Gutierrez was last seen Friday morning near 45th Avenue and Thomas Road in Phoenix, police spokesman James Holmes said.

Holmes said Gutierrez's condition, which includes autism, makes it difficult for him to communicate. Gutierrez recently moved to Phoenix and is unfamiliar with the area, he said.

Gutierrez is described as Hispanic; 5 feet, 6 inches tall; 146 pounds; with brown eyes and hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue T-shirt and black pants.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding Gutierrez's whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 602-543-2121 or after-hours at 602-262-6141.
