Police are searching for a missing woman.
On August 11, Taushana Jackson was seen getting into a man's car around 11 p.m., of her own free will. The next day her family reported her missing.
Both the man and car she was last seen with have been located; the car was taken by police to be evaluated, and the man has been interviewed by detectives.
Police say Jackson has never gone missing before, and friends of hers tell Fox CT that she has a 5-year-old son.
Ground searches are being conducted in secluded areas as the investigation continues.
Police say that there is not enough information to issue a silver or amber alert, but investigators are "extremely concerned with Ms. Jackson's safety."
