A 56-year-old Davenport, Iowa man reportedly vanished when he went for a short walk near the group home where he lives.
Jim Terhune is severely diabetic and suffered a traumatic brain injury as a child, according to a post about his disappearance from the Quad Cities Missing Persons Network. Terhune lives at a group home on 55th near Division Street in Davenport, the post said.
Terhune is 56 years old, 5-feet 11-inches tall and weighs about 192 pounds; he has brown eyes and gray hair. Terhune was last seen at about 4 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, near the home. He was wearing teal shorts, a black Iowa Hawkeyes t-shirt and white New Balance tennis shoes with bright orange shoelaces.
"If you see him or have any information, please call 911," the post said.
Davenport Police confirmed Terhune has been reported missing. Police and another post to the Missing Persons Network Facebook thread shared a more-recent photo of Terhune along with information about his disappearance.
