#MISSING: Monique Figueroa, 28 - Littlerock, CALIFORNIA (car found abandoned and scratched in a northeast Los Angeles suburb)

The black Mercedes SUV belonging to a mother missing nearly two weeks has been found scratched and abandoned in a northeast Los Angeles suburb.
Family believe Monique Figueroa, 28, of Littlerock, Calif., was kidnapped when she disappeared May 19 in nearby Juniper Hills and their fears appeared to be confirmed when the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department announced her vehicle was recovered Saturday. The homicide squad is now investigating.
Her father, Jeff Figueroa, said the SUV was scratched and "looked like it had been run off the road, and signs of a struggle with handprints all over it."
More than 100 people showed up at a candlelight vigil Sunday night for Figueroa, the mother of a 2-year-old girl, KTLA reported.
The Facebook page "Finding Mo" has been set up.
Figueroa's boyfriend, identified by family as David McCall, has been jailed recently on murder charges tied to a gangland killing, L.A. County Sheriff's Lt. Steve Jauch said.
"I believe my daughter was kidnapped due to the company she kept and the knowledge she knows about possible murders," Figueroa's father told KABC.
Jeff Figueroa believes someone feared his daughter might testify in the case, even though she said she would not and had no knowledge of the killing.
She hung out with gang members tied to her boyfriend, he added.
Figueroa, described as a stay-at-home mother, had said she was headed to L.A. to see friends when she vanished.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department put out a special bulletin for Monique Figueroa.
