#MISSING: Thomas Anthony “Tony” Starr, 56 - Bend, OREGON

Police turned to the public for tips or any leads Thursday as they try to find a missing Bend man who hasn't been heard from by family or friends in nearly two weeks.
The friends and family of Thomas Anthony "Tony" Starr, 46, called Bend police on May 13 to report that he had not been in touch with them for four days, said Lt. Clint Burleigh.
On Thursday, they notified detectives they still had not heard from Star, which Burleigh said "is a variation from his normal routines."
Detectives with the Central Oregon Major Crimes Team are working with police to try to find and check the welfare of Starr.  Burleigh said the unusual step was taken because that team was in Bend training on Thursday, not due to any indications that foul play was involved in Starr's disappearance.
Burleigh said Starr is a transient who has stayed in several locations around the city. He is described as 5-foot-10 and 145 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Bend police at 541-693-6911, reference case No. 15-127817.
