#MISSING: Paul Edwin Brackens, 46 - Big Coppitt Key, FLORIDA (needs medication - despondent - left behind personal belongings and parrot)

Deputies are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man from Big Coppitt Key.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office deputies said Paul Edwin Brackens, 46, was last seen by his roommate April 27 at their home on Palmetto Drive.
The roommate told deputies that she was worried because Brackens left behind his cellphone, wallet, parrot, medications and bicycle, which is his only mode of transportation.
The roommate told deputies that before his disappearance, Brackens told her that he was suffering from medical issues and said he was depressed. Deputies said family members and friends also said they haven't heard from Brackens in a couple of weeks.
Deputies said Brackens frequents several bars on Duval Street, but has not been spotted there since he was reported missing.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call detectives at 305-797-0064.
