#MISSING: James "J.J." Allen Jr., mid-20s - Rochester, NEW YORK

A city man was reported missing Tuesday.

James "J.J." Allen Jr., mid-20s, was last heard from Sunday, said friend Joe Franco also of Rochester. Allen had sent a text to a friend in Pennsylvania and that's the last anyone talked to or has seen him, Franco said.

Franco sent a text to Allen Monday and didn't hear from him. Franco said a mutual friend also didn't hear from Allen either, "this is not like him to up and leave," saying that Allen's car is still at his South Wedge apartment.

Allen is described as 5'5", 115 to 130 lbs., with medium-long straight brown hair and scruffy facial hair. Friends say he's often seen with a folded bandana around his head and Wayfarer sunglasses.

Rochester police are investigating.
