URGENT #MISSING: Danny Atkins, 63 - Horry County, SOUTH CAROLINA (suffers from health issues - may cause him to be come disoriented - his vehicle was found in Tabor City, NC on Jan. 22nd)

Police are asking for the public's help locating a 63-year-old man who has been missing from Longs for 10 days.

Atkins's vehicle was found on Hickman Road in Tabor City, North Carolina on Thursday, January 22. Danny Atkins has not been seen or heard from since Monday, January 19, according to a news release from the Horry County Police Department. Atkins suffers from health issues that may cause him to become disoriented.

A family member told police that Atkins lives by himself and has no other family in the area. The family member usually talks on the phone with Atkins every day because of his health issues.

Police have checked at Atkins's home and at two local hospitals, but did not find any sign of him.

Atkins is described in the police report as a 5-foot-9-inch tall white male, 220 pounds in weight, with brown hair and blue eyes.
