#MISSING: Terri J. Hamm, 52 - Lancaster, OHIO

The Lancaster Police Department is searching for a 52-year-old Lancaster woman who family members reported they have not been seen since Jan. 26.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating Terri J. Hamm.

"Her husband reported her missing over the weekend, and so far, we haven't been able to find her," police Sgt. Matt Chambers said. "We also haven't found anything criminal related to it."

Hamm has blonde hair and blue eyes, wears glasses, and has a missing front tooth. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 148 pounds.

According to a police report taken Saturday, Hamm's husband, Jeffrey "Scott" Hamm, reported her missing.

He told police the two had been married for 17 years, "and Terri has never done anything like this."

The report indicated her purse, phone and eyeglasses were the only things missing; she had left her car and all her clothing at their home in the 1400 block of East Chestnut Street.

Chambers said that there are a lot of reasons any adult could leave voluntarily.

"Right now, we are just trying to find her and make sure she's OK," Chamber said.

Anyone with information about Terri Hamm's whereabouts is asked to call the police department's Detective Bureau at 740-687-6680, ext. 535.
