#MISSING Oswaldo Mendez-Chavez, 20 - Santa Cruz, CALIFORNIA

Santa Cruz County sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's helping to find a 20-year-old Santa Cruz man reported missing Feb. 18 by family members.
Oswaldo Mendez-Chavez moved to Santa Cruz two years ago from Los Angeles. His family hasn't been able to reach him since Jan. 17, according to sheriff's Lt. Kelly Kent.
Kent said Mendez-Chavez's family routinely talked to him three to four times a week. He lives alone in the Santa Cruz area and has no medical issues that would put him at risk, Kent said. He is described at Latino, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Deputies ask anyone with information about Mendez-Chavez's whereabouts to call Santa Cruz County
Sheriff's Office nonemergency dispatch number at 831-471-1121.
