An 83-year-old Kenner man who was reported missing was found Sunday morning in Texas, according to the Kenner Police Department.
Rodney Keller, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, was found sometime early Sunday morning in Port Arthur, Texas.
According to the KPD, Keller's family woke up Saturday morning and discovered he was missing and had also taken the family's 2012 Honda CRV.
During the search for Keller, KPD officers learned that he fueled up at a gas station in Metairie before he made the 250-mile journey to Texas.
Keller is now in protective custody, while the family heads to Texas. No additional details were provided.
