ENDANGERED AUTISTIC #MISSING: Brian Gewirtz, 20 - Brooklyn, NEW YORK (Autistic - Diabetic - may be disoriented or lethargic - missing from Marine Park neighboghood)

As temperatures plunge into the single digits, a Brooklyn family is frantically searching for their son who went missing earlier this week.
Brian Gewirtz, 20, was last seen leaving his home on Coleman Street in Marine Park Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 9 a.m. Gewirtz, who is 5'4″ and 130 lbs., is autistic and diabetic. He requires medication for his diabetes.
Gewirtz's family says he may be disoriented or lethargic and that he is shy and not violent. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and may have changed into a maroon or gray horizontally striped shirt/sweater.
If you spot Gewritz, immediately call 911 or Det. Guthrie at 718-258-4401 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.  His family says to approach him with a normal tone of voice and say your name.
