Sheriff Ronald J. Myers said in a press release Monday that the Stark County Coroner's Office found those remains belong to Nicole Konanec. Sheriff Myers said Konanec went missing back in November 2012.
The remains were found in a wooded area off of Bell Hill Road in Archer Township back on December 31. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification helped to find and collect those remains.
Investigators said they aren't sure how or why Konanec ended up in the wooded area. Sheriff Myers said there weren't enough remains to do a sampling on how she died.
