On January 21, 2015 the Port Wentworth Police Department was called to investigate a missing person who was last seen on January 12, 2015.
The missing person was identified as Michael Marler, a 56 year old white male with grey hair and brown eyes. Marler is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen leaving his home in the Newport Subdivsion at approximately 5:30am on January 12, 2015.
Mr. Marler has ties to Chatham County, Effingham County, and Cobb County and may be in any of these locations.
