Gaston County Police are asking for you help in searching for a missing Belmont man.
Last Wednesday morning, Gaston County Police say 24-year-old Elmer Alexander Guzman Castillo walked away from a home in the 100 block of Riverloop Road in Belmont around 9:30 a.m. and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
Authorities say Castillo does not have a car and frequently walks to and from work and local businesses.
Castillo is 5-foot-8, weighs 150 pounds, has short dark hair and a pierced right ear.
Castillo recently moved to the area, and authorities say he has family and friends in the Charlotte and Belmont areas.
