URGENT #MISSING: Moshe Kanofsky, 73 - Brooklyn, NEW YORK (Dementia - reward offered)

A Crown Heights granddad has been missing since last week and his family is worried sick.
The neighborhood's Shmira patrol released a missing poster for Moshe Kanofsky, 73, who also goes by "Gerald Kane," Friday afternoon.
The missing man's son is Jewish community leader Yosef Kanofsky.
"My father is a kind, loving and gentle man, who suffers from memory loss that may cause him to wander. Our family has been worried sick about his whereabouts as the weather gets colder and daylight gets shorter. We miss him tremendously and pray for his safe return home," said Yosef Kanofsky, in a prepared statement.
Councilman David G. Greenfield has offered a $500 reward for information leading to his safe return.
"It deeply saddens me to hear the news about Moshe's disappearance, especially during this holiday season. This is a time where families should be together, not separated. Thankfully, the NYPD has been working—even on Christmas—to ensure that he is found and safely reunited with his family,"Greenfield said.
Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or the Crown Heights Shmira Safety Patrol at (718) 221 0303.
Moshe Kanofsky was last seen wearing a straw hat and flannel shirt on Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
