Details: Daniel Nerstrom is missing and probable distraught. No activity in his bank account and his cell phone is turned off. He lost friends while serving in Iraq and was forced to retire from the Army in 2009 due to a severe back injury and brain trauma that makes him lightheaded and confused at times. He also suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, but he’s not violent toward others. He is extremely smart and highly trained to survive outdoors, despite the cold weather. A spokesperson for the U.S. Army, confirmed that Nerstrom served in the Army from September 2003 until he retired for medical reasons in January 2009. Nerstrom was deployed to Iraq from February 2005 until February 2006 as a scout in the Third Armored Regiment.
