#MISSING: Dean Abney, 85 - Yucca Valley, CALIFORNIA (driving a beige 2004 Toyota Camry with OR plate CK73530)

Detective's sought the public's help Saturday in locating an 85-year-old man reported missing in Yucca Valley.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Dean Abney was last seen driving from his home on Friday to get a haircut at the Elite Cosmetology School.

When Abney never returned home that day, his wife reported him missing around 6:47 p.m. to deputies at the Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station.

Deputies explained they immediately began searching the area for Abney, but have not yet located him.

According to detectives, he is a white man that stands 5-foot-8 tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has gray hair and hazel eyes.

Abney was last seen driving his beige 2004 Toyota Camry, with an Oregon license plate that reads: CK73530.
