URGENT #MISSING: Katherine "Kay" Reardon, 83 - Normal, ILLINOIS (driving a silver 2002-2003 Mercury Sable with plate IKE K49)

The search continues for an 83-year-old Morton woman who went missing Sunday and the family's panic grows as the days go by without any developments.
Katherine "Kay" Reardon was last seen leaving the Heritage Health Normal assisted living facility in Normal, where she visited her sister, at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. She did not turn up for work as a bus monitor for Morton School District 709 Monday morning and when her daughter went to check up on her later that day, Reardon's bed appeared to not have been slept in the night before.
"It's been so long it's beginning to make us think all kinds of crazy things," said Julie Mooberry, a longtime family friend who is serving as the family's spokesperson.
Morton Police Chief Craig Hilliard said Wednesday that the Morton, Normal and Bloomington police departments were searching for Reardon. However, Reardon had a head start of several hours on the search efforts and until her car is found, there is no way to focus the search. There is no way to know where to even look for Reardon.
According to Mooberry, as of Friday that circumstance had not changed. She said the family initially thought that perhaps Reardon got lost trying to take country roads from the assisted living facility in Normal to her daughter's house in Carlock, but no evidence has turned up to support this theory.
The family's search has been aided by a couple of private pilots who performed an aerial search Tuesday and by dozens of individuals using their own vehicles to scour central Illinois in search of Reardon's silver 2002-03 Mercury Sable with the license plate IKE K49.
Mooberry said the family is hopeful that a group of all-terrain vehicle riders from the Carlock area may turn up something with a search along the Mackinaw River.
Reardon is about 5 feet 1 inch tall and she weighs about 140 pounds. She has brown-grey hair.

Anybody with any information that could help the search should contact the Morton Police Department at 266-6666.
