The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public's help to a missing man with dementia.
Harold Gordon Bowers, 85, was last seen around noon on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Northwest Portland. Bowers left his electric scooter behind and walked out of the hospital.
According to police, Bowers is 5'8" tall, 180 pounds, with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, blue jeans, black shoes, and red socks.
Bowers is familiar with TriMet and usually wears his bus pass around his neck and ID bracelet on his wrist, police say.
Anyone seeing Bowers is asked to call 9-1-1. Anyone with non-emergency information is asked to contact Detective Heidi Helwig at (503) 823-0797.
