#MISSING: Carl Manuel, 78 - Tate County, MISSISSIPPI (Suspicious Circumstances)

The Tate County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man with mild dementia. Carl Manuel, 78, has been missing for around two days, and investigators say his disappearance is suspicious.
Riding on four-wheelers and looking under a creek bridge, investigators aren't leaving any stone unturned in their search for Manuel.
He was walking on Goliath Road, wearing a flannel or plaid shirt.
Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance says he's getting conflicting information about Manuel's health and when he was last seen, raising suspicion that something may have happened to the missing man.
The father and grandfather was last seen Sunday morning by his girlfriend's family.
Manuel lived with his 82-year-old girlfriend, Mary Stacks, most of the time. His home is just a few houses down from where his son lives.
"He walked home. I watched him until he was out of sight," Stacks said.
Mary Stacks' son, Tony, is a suspect, according to investigators.
"They said it ain't looking good for me 'cause I was the last one who seen him. And I had an argument with him about tools," he said.
Stacks says he got the wrenches back, but that he did not kill Manuel.
Lance says there's no history of violence between Manuel and his girlfriend.
It's unclear who is giving the conflicting information, but with each passing hour he feels more uneasy about the well-being of the father and grandfather.
"With inconsistencies that we're getting ... different stories from different individuals is causing us to have concern that this may be more than just a person walking away from their home," Lance said. "One family believes he walked to the other residence. His family, who never saw him, assumed that he was at the girlfriend's residence."
Horn Lake police dogs and the DeSoto County Sheriff's Department's helicopter are among the agencies lending a hand.
"Our feelings are if he walked away, he wouldn't be able to walk very far and we've been searching last night and today with no traces of him.," Lance said.
Manuel has poor eyesight. He walks with a slight limp and has difficulty hearing.
Anyone who can help locate Manuel is asked to contact Tate County Sheriff's Office at 662-562-4434. Manuel is about 6 feet 2 inches tall and 160-175 pounds.
