Located safe; Billy Hanson 9 Hazleton, Pennsylvania

A missing 9-year-old boy from Hazleton has been safely located on an island in the South Pacific Ocean, FBI officials in Seattle, Washington, said Thursday.


Billy Hanson was found on the island of Niue, FBI spokeswoman Dietrich-Williams said.


A federal arrest warrant was issued for the boy's father, Jeffrey Ford Hanson on Sept. 12 in U.S. District Court in Seattle after he was charged with international parental kidnapping.
