#MISSING: Jael Hamblen, 20 - Anchorage, ALASKA

A 20 year-old woman remains missing tonight, and friends and family are worried for her safety.
Jael Hamblen was last seen in her Trailside Loop apartment in South Anchorage Saturday night.
Kendra Vincent is Hamblen's roommate. On Tuesday, Vincent spent the day handing out fliers in their apartment complex, asking if anyone had seen her friend.
Vincent says she and Hamblen were together for most of Saturday evening. They went out for dinner and were home before 10 p.m. Vincent said Hamblen told her she was considering going out, but Vincent went to bed before she left. When Vincent got up at noon on Sunday, Hamblen wasn't home.
Vincent says Hamblen took her purse and phone, but she left her car, which makes Vincent think that someone picked her up. Why Hamblen never returned is a huge mystery. But Vincent says the biggest mystery of all is why the young mother hasn't checked in on her seven-month-old son.
"People are trying to suggest she ran off or wanted to blow town," said Vincent. "She wouldn't do that, she would never, ever, leave this baby that long. There's no way."
Vincent says she and her mom are caring for the child, but they worry more as every day passes.
