HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say they have made in-person contact with a young woman they had been searching for and that she is fine.
Christal Parrish, 22, went missing in late September. Now living in Huron Township on the east side of the state, she told friends in her hometown of Holland that she was coming for a visit and then never showed up. Friends were concerned because her Facebook account had been deactivated, which they said was unlike Parrish.
Tuesday, police said one of Parrish's social media accounts had been being activated and deactivated and that posts were being made, though they weren't immediately sure that the posts were actually from Parrish.
Wednesday afternoon, Huron Township police told 24 Hour News 8 Parrish had been located, that they made contact with her in person and that she was safe and well.
