Amber Alert cancelled located safe; Kiarah Hughes and Brooklyn Hughes - La Plata County, Colorado

LA PLATA COUNTY – Two young sisters who are believed to have been abducted by a mother who lost her parental rights Saturday have been found safe.

The suspect, identified as Kallisha Hughes, 30, was found traveling with the children in Lincoln County, N.M. Hughes was taken into custody at around 9:30 p.m., the Colorado Bureau of Investigation says.
CBI said earlier Saturday that Hughes took Kiarah Hughes, 5, and Brooklyn Hughes, 3, from their legal guardians' home, prompting an Amber Alert.
