COLUMBIA, Md. - Howard County police have located a missing 71-year-old man in the early stages of dementia.
Melvin Thomas Owens, 71, was last seen by a family member before 10:30 a.m. Monday. Police said he left his home in the 9300 block of Matador Road in Columbia to grocery shop.
Police said Tuesday he has returned home safely.
