GOLD ALERT: Cody Bigler, 17 - New Castle County, DELAWARE (concern for safety and welfare)

New Castle County Police Issues "Gold Alert "
Police Seek Missing Person

The New Castle County Police are currently searching for Cody Bigler, a 17-year
-old male from the unit block of Bobby Drive (Robscott Manor) in Newark.

(Newark, Del.-19713) On Friday (9/19), New Castle County Police responded to 
Hodson Vo-tech High School for a missing persons report. Officers made contact
with the Student Resource Officer and a student. Officers learned Cody
contacted the student via cellphone at approximately 6:00 a.m., but was last seen
at approximately 6:45 a.m. leaving the parking lot of the school. 
Officers contacted Cody's mother and learned she has been unable to make 
contact with him via telephone. Officers attempted to locate Cody but have 
unsuccessful and there is a real concern for his safety and welfare.
Cody is described as a Caucasian male, 6'2'' tall, approximately 300lbs. with 
brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tribal tattoo on his upper left arm and drives
a late model Ford Taurus with Delaware registration and an Eagles front license 
plate. The car also has some body damage. 

Anyone with information pertaining to the whereabouts of Cody Bigler is asked to
call the New Castle County Police Department at (302) 573-2800. Citizens can
submit tips anonymously by going to www.NCCPD.com and following the link forTips and Alerts. You will be asked for a subject line, the location the tip applies to, and your tip information. You may also attach a photograph. 

Citizens may also provide text tips by texting the key word NCCPD followed by your tip to 847411
(TIP411). Tipsters may also call Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Citizens who
currently have the Smartphone App are encouraged to use the "submit tip" tab to
submit tips. Select a topic by using the "drop down" and complete the tip by
"clicking" submit.
