Police on Saturday were asking for the public's help in finding a 68-year-old missing woman, officials said.
Ruth Ann Johnson Arnold was last seen about 3:30 p.m. April 10 at her Mid-City home in the 2400 block of South Ridgeley Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
"Her family is extremely concerned for her welfare due to her ongoing medical care," the LAPD said in a statement.
Arnold is described as an African-American female with brown hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a black blazer, a pink and black skirt set, and black nursing shoes, statement said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Missing Persons Unit Detective Mercado at 213-996-1800, or 877-527-3247 during non-business hours. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477, text the letters "LAPD" to 274637, or visit lapdonline.org.
