Earthly Body Located: Andrew Kanian, 41 - Minnesota

The body of a 41-year-old man missing since the beginning of the year has been found.
41–year–old Andrew Kanian was last seen on Jan. 2nd around midnight as he left Rider's bar in Virginia. Kanian was found half a block from where he was last seen walking on 4th Ave. South.
At exactly 1:49 p.m. on Feb. 3rd the Virginia Police Department received a call informing them that there was a frozen body under their porch at 300 block of 3rd St. South.
Virginia Police and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office determined it was the body of Kanian. Virginia Police Chief Dennis Benz says it appears there is no indication or suspicion that there was any foul play involved.
"Andy's body was found in Virginia this afternoon. I only know a few details and I am not releasing anything I know. Just wanted everyone to know. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers and your support during this time," a Feb. 3rd post on a Facebook Page dedicated to helping find Kanian said.
Tammy Kanian, Andrew's wife, said she was in "shock and disbelief" upon hearing the news. She said she learned about the discovery around 2 p.m. Monday.
The investigation shows Kanian was intoxicated the evening of Jan. 2nd and it appears he crawled under the porch area, fell asleep and froze. Police say an autopsy is pending and the case remains under investigation.
