Missing: Brian Townsend, Canadian Missionary in Valley of Peace, Belize

Brian Townsend, a missionary living in Belize, has been missing since Christmas Day, when a chef, hired to cook for him on December 25, arrived to find Brian's apartment in Valley of Peace, Belize, in disarray and he was missing.  According to reports from his son, who lives in Edmonton, Canada,"Some things were broken, some things were thrown around, there was evidence of a struggle that led to his vehicle that was parked outside in his drive and the vehicle was ultimately missing, as well. There are unconfirmed reports that his truck drove away Christmas eve about 10:30pm.
His family said Brian Townsend had been living in Belize for nine years, doing missionary work building schools. His adult son plans to travel to Belize to search for his father.  More information can be found on the Facebook page "https://www.facebook.com/briantownsendmissing.belize.3" and "Brian Townsend Missing Belize"
