A 71-year-old man has been reported missing from his care home, Atlanta police said Friday.
Obie James Cosby, who has dementia, was last seen Thursday at Holy Comforter Church on Woodland Avenue in southeast Atlanta, according to Officer Kim Smith. The church houses The Friendship Center, which offers programs for adults with disabilities, according to its website.
Cosby’s home is about six miles away on Meadow Lane, near Decatur, police said.
Cosby is 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds, according to police. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Cosby’s whereabouts should call 911 or the Atlanta Police Department’s Adult Missing Persons Squad at 404-546-4235.
