MISSING MAN: Clarence Reynolds, 80 - Wasco, CALIFORNIA (WENT MISSING AFTER HE WAS SUPPOSED TO VISIT WIFE IN HOSPITAL - HAS A FULL GROWN BEARD - drives a 2009 silver Ford focus with CA plate 6FOY182)

The search continues for an elderly man gone missing after he was supposed to visit his wife in the hospital.

Neighbors said the 80 year old man was always taking a walk around the neighborhood and had a smile on his face, now they are asking the public to take a close look at his picture and call police if you have seen him.

80-year-old Clarence Reynolds went missing Wednesday at about 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

His next door neighbors of 20 years said they saw deputies at Reynolds’s house today, but had no idea he'd gone missing.

Deputies said Reynolds was on his way to visit his wife in a Bakersfield hospital.

His son in law, Tony Stout, owns the Western Furniture Store.

One employee told 23 ABC that Reynolds stopped at the furniture store before making the drive to Bakersfield but has not been seen or heard from since.

Stout said Reynolds may look a lot different than the photo.

He said he has a full grown beard and has dropped a lot of weight.

Neighbors are holding on to hope that Reynolds will be found safe and sound soon.

Deputies said Reynolds' family checked his home and found his car was missing.

Deputies said he drives a 2009 silver ford focus with a California license plate reading 6FOY182.

If you see him you're asked to call the Sheriff's Department at 861-3110.
